Possum Kingdom Lake is one of the best striper fisheries in the state and it is our home water. Our striper guides stay on the fish year around and prefer to fly fish for them from march-july. This is more similar to a salt water experience and anglers who can comfortably cast 60+ feet will have the most success. This is a very fast paced style of fishing and keeps you constantly on the hunt for the next big eat! Poppers are inhaled when thrown into a feeding frenzy and a double digit striper will take you to your backing! The agressive striper eats and hard fights are as much fun as any freshwater fish on the planet! You will fish with owner and founder JD Roberts on this trip and stand on the front of a 21' center console boat while you fish for these speed demons. You will hunt sub-surface fish on the livescope and throw poppers at the rising fish!
